Dear BCA Families It was a short week this week and for Grade 6-8 students it started with an amazing day of skiing at Mt. St. Louis/Moonstone Resort in Coldwater on Tuesday. It was nice to get out in the great outdoors! Bring a Friend Day and Open House on Wednesday brought new students for the day and we enjoyed meeting some new families in the evening. Our basketball teams participated in the annual CAASO Basketball Tournament in Burlington on Thursday. Mr. Collier was the convener for the tournament and Miss Hawton, the statistician. Royal Canadian Legion Poster and Literary Contest Winners

February 21, 2019 Every year around Remembrance Day, The Royal Canadian Legion runs a Poster and Literary Contest. Through the creativity of the contest, Canadian school children honour Canada’s Veterans, and help maintain remembrance of our Veterans. The competition is judged through 5 levels of the legion; branch, zone, district, province and country. This year BCA students from grades 1-8 entered the Remembrance Day poster competition. Dear BCA Families What a great week at BCA! Yesterday students enjoyed a lovely day of outdoor activities in mixed grade groups in the morning and skating in the afternoon for our annual Winterluve event. Grade 7&8 students led the outdoor events and provided leadership in each of the groups. The weather was absolutely perfect for the winter outdoors! Dear BCA Families, With a break in the weather and temperatures heading closer to zero, I hope you can enjoy the long weekend ahead and get outdoors! It has been hard for students this week with the extreme cold temperatures, beautiful snow cover and no outdoor recesses! They were very disappointed. We enjoyed a short video in chapel this week based on John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father, except through me”.
