Join Team BCA Bobcats at this year’s “Coldest Night of the Year” walk-a-thon event!

Our students and staff continue to strive to help those in need in our community. We have the opportunity to take part in the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY), a nationwide walk-a-thon with tens of thousands of Canadians who step outside the warmth of comfort of their homes to shine a light of welcome and inclusion. BCA Parent and Staff member, Jenn Cook-Grigsby, is putting together a BCA team to participate in this year’s event and raise money for organizations like “Open Doors”, whose commitment and work transforms peoples’ lives.

Participants will walk through the cold and dark on February 23rd 2019 to declare their concern for people who have no home, for those whose days are a battle to house and feed their children, for those driven from home by violence and abuse. They walk humbly, realizing that anyone can lose their footing. They walk to be a light for those in need as each step and donation brings someone closer to safety, health, and home.

So join us! Walk with us and support your neighbours in the Burlington community.
